           Impact Selector’s XCS Slickline Jars-UHD  are high performance tools designed for ultra heavy duty fishing that protect against time-consuming and expensive stuck tool strings and fishing jobs. 

          With slickline, there is often a very limited amount of overpull available to free stuck tools. Impact Selector’s jars act to greatly increase the force available at the tools by using energy stored in compressed springs and the slickline itself to create a powerful upwards impulse. 

          The jar activation force can be easily adjusted at surface while in the string to account for different operations. 

          All XCS Slickline tools use a sealed mechanical design that is suitable for harsh, hostile, and debris-filled environments.

                • Provides highly effective shock absorption to help prevent tool or wire damage.  


                    Like two tools in one, Impact Selector’s Intensifier functions as an acceleration tool or as a shock absorber device, depending on where it is positioned in the tool string. 

                    Wireline jars rely on stored energy from both internal springs and in the stretched wireline to create impact forces. If additional energy is required, then the Intensifier is placed above the jar to increase the energy storage capacity of the system using a powerful spring stack. 

                    When placed below the cable head, the same spring stack will absorb shocks —created by perforating, for example—from below to protect the rope socket and wireline from damage.
