It is with great excitement that Probe Technologies Holdings, Inc. (“Probe”) and Impact Selector International, LLC. (“Impact Selector” or “ISI”) announce the expansion of their relationship establishing Impact Selector as the exclusive supplier of I-Wheel Conveyance Optimization solutions.
For the last several years, ISI and Probe have collaborated to offer commercial alternatives for I-Wheel technology and this expansion will facilitate the most efficient delivery to our customers.“With the recent merger of Hunter and Probe, Probe has continued to focus on expanding its portfolio in our quest toward achieving global recognition as industry leaders in cased hole and reservoir monitoring
solutions.
Although I-Wheel is complementary to our strategy and tool offering, we feel that ISI’s focus on conveyance is a perfect fit for the I-Wheel. Such an arrangement will primarily benefit Probe customers by providing additional options and support for more comprehensive conveyance solutions,” said Federico Casavantes, CEO of Probe.
“As the market evolves and ISI continues to implement its Intelligent Conveyance Technology offering, we are thrilled to be the exclusive provider of I-Wheel. ISI will be increasing our available inventory and including I-Wheel as an integral part of our tool configuration and conveyance support recommendations and analysis.
I-Wheels, along with Roller Bogies, will provide our clients multiple solutions tailored to their specific needs, job parameters and well conditions. ISI will begin manufacturing I-Wheels, of all sizes to be available within our fleet, along with taking over all on-going support and maintenance of the I-Wheels currently in the market.” said David Lane President and CEO of ISI.
ISI and Probe look forward to continuing our collaboration and service offering of I-Wheel. All future inquiries of I-Wheel product line, including any maintenance, re-certification, parts, or I-Wheel sizes, fit, availability, or technical materials should be directed to:

Impact Selector International will be demonstrating its latest, technologically-advanced wireline tool – SMART Sens – during the 2017 Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas. Impact Selector’s SMART Sens is a wireline tension monitoring device that provides wireline engineers with real-time, downhole tension and temperature readings at the toolstring during pumpdown operations.
This game-changing tool enables wireline operators to maintain safe cable tension during the entire pumpdown operation, thereby avoiding costly and dangerous pump-off situations.Brian Hines, product champion for SMART Sens, commented “By providing real-time, downhole cable tension and related data to the wireline engineer, SMART Sens eliminates the uncertainty inherent in surface-level measurements, giving the operator increased control.
Confirming that plugs have set is particularly valuable.” During OTC, SMART Sens demonstrations will be available at Impact Selector’s booth (#1509) along with other downhole tools in ISI’s Intelligent Conveyance™ suite of products.Impact Selector is a recognized industry leader in the design, development and deployment of the most technically-innovative products and solutions for mitigating risks during formation evaluation and well intervention operations.
With locations in the Middle East, United Kingdom, United States, and Southeast Asia, Impact Selector can quickly deploy its risk-reducing and efficiency-enhancing solutions world-wide.

Impact Selector International (ISI) announced today that the entire line of products and services offered by Impact Selector and Wireline Engineering will be available in Australia beginning in the first quarter of 2017. ISI is expanding its product offering in Australia beyond its open hole wireline jars that have been used successfully throughout Australia by major oil and gas clients operating offshore and in Moomba.
The oil and gas industry’s need to capitalize on true operating efficiencies has left a large hole in the market that ISI has been asked to fill by offering its entire suite of Intelligent Conveyance® solutions from a new sales and equipment service location in Perth. This expansion initiates a complete and dedicated presence in the Australian exploration, development, interventions and completions market.
“I recently had the pleasure of spending a week in Perth engaging directly with clients, interested operators and our service company partners in the region” commented David Lane, CEO of Impact Selector.
“It is apparent that our Intelligent Conveyance Technologies® are well suited to the Australian region and will further enhance the efficiency and safety of operations, as we have done in other parts of the world. It is exciting to bring our complete offering to an already successful market for our Intelligent Conveyance® solutions.”
Adam Shuttleworth, Business Development Manager at Impact Selector, added “With my experience in the market and ISI’s proven track record around the globe, we believed it was time to bring ISI’s full product offering to Australia and have equipment on the ground available for call-out in this region."
In addition to the full support of ISI’s already established open hole wireline jars, ISI is now providing local sales and services support for:
• Technologically advanced and superior impact jars, including slickline & mono conductor e-line
• Roller Bogies®, including slickline, ballistic rated and pre-wired mono & multi conductor e-line
• Heavy duty fishing packages
• Advanced kickover tools
• Gas lift valve packages
• Tool string modeling and risk reduction solutions
• Custom design and support services
Impact Selector is currently accepting pre-orders, assisting with tool string modeling, and arranging for custom-designed tool packages and sizes to be available and in service for the initial first quarter projects planned in the region.
“Knowing the region for many years and using our network to provide information on the equipment that is necessary for the development of our clients’ outreach and efficiency, we felt the need to be established in Perth. This allows us to proactively provide easy access to our newest equipment, latest technology, and cost saving solutions for our clients. Impact Selector is excited to invest and partner with our customers within Australia and enable new resources and tools to be available,” commented Mr. Lane.
