Impact Selector’s XCS E-line jar is a powerful yet cost effective way to reduce risk in electric wireline cased hole operations. The sealed, oil filled design is suitable for hostile environments and also benefits from reduced maintenance and operating cost.

With the smaller cables used for cased hole operations there is often a very limited amount of overpull available to free stuck tools. The XCS jar acts to greatly increase the force available at the cablehead through using energy stored in compressed springs and the wireline itself to create a powerful upwards impulse on the tools. As the force acts on the bottom of the jar, the cablehead is protected from the impact and remains unaffected.

The jar activation force can be easily adjusted at surface while in the string to account for different operations.
Available in a range of sizes and with all major types of mono-conductor connection, Xcalibur is ideal for most logging, perforating, pipe recovery and plug setting operations.

      Features:

      • Ballistic durable with sealed bearings

          Benefits:

          • Lifting force placed at tangent reduces contact with the bore wall.

          • Creates standoff which significantly reduces abnormal contact friction.

          • Can reduces fishing operations by up to 90%

I-Wheels can be placed anywhere along the tool string. I-Wheels create low contact areas that keep the tool body off the low side of the bore wall, with a gap to pass over problem areas. They are efficient, consistent, and reliable tools in highly deviated wells up to 84° and reduce modelled friction by up to 80%.

Cased Hole I-Wheels are routinely used to convey perforating guns. They can be placed above, below, or between gun sections, with the detonating cord run through the mandrel. They allow the gun to rotate independently of the wheels, assisting on the orientation of shot in high-or low side perforating.

A wide range-of I-Wheel designs are available for any tubing, casing, or borehole size. Optional in-line or over-body-variants enable the best tool configuration tor optimum deployment. Custom-engineered sizing and bespoke mounting vadants are developed by Impact Selector upon request to suit specific applications and well conditions. Environmental Specifications

            Features:

            • Self-orienting design

            • Low friction dual rollers

            • Streamlined profile

            • Robust and durable tool design

            • Low maintenance requirements

            • Available for all tubing sizes

              Benefits:

              • Reach extended depths and higher deviations without need for costly services such as coiled tubing or wireline tractors.

              • Improve data quality by eliminating stick-slip and achieving more constant logging speeds.

              • Deploy longer perforating guns in deviated wells.

              • Protect high value equipment from frictional wear.

              • Improve cable management by reducing erratic loading.

Impact Selector’s E-Line Roller Bogie tool is designed to reduce frictional resistance and enable access to high deviations. With a proven track record of success at inclinations up to 87 degrees and at depths in excess of 25,000 feet, the Roller Bogie tool is extremely robust, reliable and widely used in over 50 countries across six continents.

Cased Hole E-line Roller Bogie tools are available in monoconductor, multiconductor, and perforating configurations and can be used in virtually all electric line operations.

Roller Bogie tools can be installed at any point in the tool string and lift the string on to highly efficient rollers, eliminating contact friction and allowing easier and deeper wellbore access.

The roller body rotates freely around the mandrel which is connected to the host tool string. The unique body shape ensures the rollers are at all times oriented to the low side of the tubing.

E-line Roller Bogie tools are available in a wide range of sizes to pass through all wellbore restrictions and can be ordered with a choice of connection types to suit individual tool string requirements, including profiled bullnose guides when run at the bottom of wireline tool strings.
Cased Hole Roller Bogie allows wireline services to reach further in deviated wells and increase data quality
